Abstract: | 361 soil samples were collected on 25 x 100m centres in the SW of the licence. This work defined a number of coherent anomalies some of which had been previously outlined by WMC. A further 251 samples were taken as followup. 6 trenches totalling 1210m were excavated. This helped with understanding the structure. 115 shallow RAB holes (680m) were completed over interpreted extensions under cover of the soil anomalies. This drilling supported the previous results but were of lower magnitude. 31 RAB Percussion holes (1114m) were completed over 2 areas identified by surface and bedrock geochemistry identified as Longhorn South and Bullock. At Longhorn only two intervals graded over 0.2ppm Au with a maximum value of 3m at 1.97ppm Au. Results from Bullock were more encouraging with a maximum of 6m at 1,7ppm Au, with anomalous values contained in general holes. 14 RC holes totalling 590m were completed as follow up. This drilling failed to intercept significant intervals of mineralization, though results from holes testing the best RAB value returned 9m at 1.2g-t Au. 52 Soil samples were taken for MMI |
