Abstract: | 17 RC holes totalling 1052m were completed to follow up an anomalous zone soil values referred to as Anomaly 2. The drilling intersected sufficient gold mineralization to explain the soil anomaly with a best value of 1m at 1.77g-t. An extensive rock chip program (162 samples) was completed of ferruginous quartz reef within the Koolpin, Mount Bonnie and Burrell Creek Formation. This sampling substantiated the previously outlined soil anomalies. Rock chip gold values peaked at 89 g-t Au and averaged at 1.32g-tAu. Anomalous PGE and base metal values were also obtained. |
