Abstract: | 74 soil samples were collected. Analysis produced a district N-NW trending coincident Au, As, Cu, Zn anomaly, with the best values associated with the Margaret Diggings within MCN119. 14 rock chip samples were collected from the zone of greatest anomalism. Assays to 3.75ppm Au were obtained. This value was obtained from ironstones and probably represents secondary enrichment. Values to 0.64ppm Au were obtained from a gossanous quartz breccia. 34 RC holes totalling 1281m were completed. 9 holes returned values between 0.70g-t and 2.72g-t Au. The drilling identified 2 echelon zones of gold mineralisation offset by a E-W trending fault on the western limit of the Margaret Anticline mineralisation is open to the north and south. |
