Abstract: This report presents the results of work carried out in the second year of tenure. A report on the resource status of the pegmatites and their associated eluvials had been commissioned. The compilation work commenced in May and the report was scheduled to have been completed by mid July. Reconnaissance auger drilling was completed near Suffam 2 and Bilatos in order to examine the potential for tin-tantalite mineralisation within the Quaternary alluvial systems in the licence area. Bottom hole samples were collected, panned down and the combined cassiterite-tantalite mineral content was visually estimated. Drill holes located a mineralised alluvial of uncertain age. The tantalite/niobium generally constitues ~20% of the estimated grade, the balance being cassiterite. This drilling programme was planned to continue as mineralised wash extends off section in three directions. The system has the potential to contain a substantial volume of exploitable alluvials.
