| Abstract: | In the second year of tenure, a programme of geological mapping, rock chip sampling and RC Percussion drilling was undertaken. Mineralisation occurs in two linear zones, parallel to strike and centred on strike ridges. It is hosted in argillites and closely associated with thin tourmalinitic and-or sulphidic chert units and smoky grey quartz + tourmaline veining. The 25 hole RC Percussion programme generally encountered sub-economic intercepts, with the better results being obtained near the Amadeus-Darwin gas pipe line. Intercepts included 12m at 3.03 g-t Au. |
