Abstract: | An orientation soil sampling programme, consisting of 116 samples was undertaken over the Reward workings. This progamme outlined an area of anomalous gold geochemistry some 500 x 1000m utilising the 10ppb contour with a maximum assay of 30.5ppb Au. Statistical analysis of the data suggests the -6mm, +1mm fraction best defines mineralisation. 31 rock chip samples were collected from various prospective sites. The maximum obtained was 7850ppb from sample D5371 Reward Prospect. 72 stream sediment samples were collected. The assays for Au BLEG range from <0.05 to 0.47ppb, whilst assays from AAS returned a maximum of 0.9ppb. |
