Abstract: | The results from the rock chip sampling was encouraging with ore grade lead (to 20.5%) and gold (to 10.5ppm) with anomalous silver (64ppm), copper (6459ppm) and zinc (2261ppm). The ore grade lead and gold values were located in a number of quartz veins in the vicinity of the main workings. The elevated silver, copper and zinc values were distributed fairly widely. The soil survey delineated the main workings and three other anomalous zones. The zinc anomalies are broader than the other elements due to its mobility. |
