| Abstract: | EL 4934 is held to explore for limestone deposits for use in cement manufacture. Eight holes approximately one metre deep were drilled to test probable Tertiary limestone on the southern bank of Elsey Reach. These holes confirmed the presence of low magnesia high grade chalky limestone. Further work is recommended. |
