Abstract: Low grade cassiterite appears throughout the Wauchope Wolfram Field and Wauchope Creek Valley in the vacinity of the field. This resource totals approx. 0.1Kg-m3 in an estimated 700 000m3. The highest grades are within the alluvial fans of Tin Creek and Adjacent Creek on the eastern side of Wauchope Creek Valley. The grade here is approx 0.5kg-m3 of 40 000m3. Wolfram is restricted to the north and south Wolfram amphitheatre with an estimated resources of 180 000m3-0.1kg-m3 Wolframite and 0.06kg-m3 cassiterite. Within the amphitheatre there may be smaller amounts of higher grade alluvium totalling approximately 10 000 m3-0.5kg-m3 with current prices none of the resources are economic.
