| Abstract: | 1987 stream sediment samples were taken from streams which drain areas inaccessible by 4 wheel drive. The samples in Skinner Pound Area had positive values of gold. Weka Prospect Old Workings had an average assay of 0.09 g-t. Anticline Valley had over a 20m interval values of 1. 04 g-t and 0.41 g-t in the Treasure Island Volcanics. Battery Waterhole recorded values of 0.08 and 0.08 g-t. |
