| Abstract: | The sequence of greenschist to upper amphibolite facies metasediments which occur in the project area resemble in many aspects the Early Proterozoic Cahill Formation host to the uranium ore deposits in the Alligator Rivers Region of the Pine Creek Geosyncline. The A1 Area has potential for containing uranium mineralisation. An electromagnetic survey outlined strong alteration zones in the A2 follow-up area. |
