Title: EL 1373, annual report on exploration for year ending 28-11-77.

Abstract: During the reporting period, EL 1373 was explored for a source of limestone and as potential host to base metal mineralisation. Mg and CO3 values were found to vary widely and erratically in the Tindall Limestone. The best outcrops were mapped and drilled with both diamond and percussion holes. Samples were assayed as composites. Samples for base metal exploration were taken along the north trending fault in the centre of the EL. These were assayed for Fe and Mn. Galena crystals were noted elsewhere when mapping and this outcrop was assayed for Pb. An iron-rich outcrop was sampled and assayed for Fe. In all, 404 samples were analysed for a total of 3546 assays. No recommendation was made on further work .
