| Title: | Quarterly report for August to October 1973 Coal Licence 173 |
| Title Holder / Company: | Utah Development Company |
| Report id: | CR1973-0082 |

| Year: | 1973 |
| Author: | Williams, PR |
| Abstract: | Although carbonaceous intersections are numerous in the phosphate Greywacke Member of the Kulshill Formation, none of the coal seams intersected are thick enough to be of economic interest. The likelihood of encountering economic seams in the overlying Sugarloaf Sandstone is considered to be remote due to the very deep weathering in these sediments. |
