Abstract: | The licence area is predominantly covered by sand interpreted to be largely underlain by granites with islands of magnetic material. Work in the relinquished portion of the licence consisted of a literature review, the acquisition and interpretation of aerial photography, Landsat imagery and airborne magnetics, as well as the collection of 7 rock chip samples in the south east of the area. The rock chip assays were uniformly low. The interpretation of available data suggested that the area unlikely to host a near surface economic deposit. Airborne magnetic data represents NTGS and Geotterex data. |
