Abstract: | Analysis of available data outline 3 areas which required ground follow up. These were a) the valley between the Nora and Wilson Ranges, b) the area to the east of the ranges and c) to the north of the Nora Range. Area a was examined by a soil sample grid, while area b was examined by soil-rock chip sampling and ground magnetics. Geochemistry outlined 3 anomalies including 2 point anomalies. Follow up failed to duplicate the 2 point anomalies. The low level 1 kilometre square anomaly in the central west of the licence was confirmed but the significance of the anomaly (0.6ppb) was unknown. The ground magnetic survey outlined 3 areas of anomalous magnetics, only one of which has a coincident geochemical anomaly. |
