Abstract: Initial reconnaissance sampling consisted of 31 loam and 19 gravel samples, results showed 10 samples containing microdiamonds and 5 containing chromites. During the second year, three bulk saples wee obtained from river gravels, two of which contained a singular microdiamond. Two areas of interest were followed up by loam sampling on a grid pattern, within loam area one, additional positive samples were obtained containing microdiamonds, however it failed to locate chromite or other indicator minerals. In loam grid area 2 extensive sampling conducted in three stages confirmed the presence of microdiamonds with the odd chromite and one titanite grain recovered, however no definitive indicator mineral trend could be observed. The tenement was also evaluated for its basemetal potential by BHP and has been previously reported. Helimag data was obtained over the loam sample grids and anomalism ground checked, EM surveys were completed over the magnetic anomalies however no conductors were noted. In addition a vegetation sampling program was completed and 2 anomalous delineated a gravity anomaly was drilled and was due to subterrainean caving, 2 microdiamonds were recovered. Five holes were drilled into the vegetation anomalies with negative results.
