| Abstract: | Thirteen bulk samples were obtained from the Plenty River channel. Samples were collected at a regular interval by backhoe to a depth of 1.5m. The garnet collected is detrital and the content varied from 6 to 16 percent. A resource calculation suggests a tonnage of 1.6 million tonnes of contained garnet. |
