EL 9390 Final Report

Abstract

During the first year 103 stream sediment samples were collected, most samples contained chromites of basaltic origin, 5 samples contained garnets of a potential kimberlitic host, however they are rounded and could have a secondary source. In the second year an aeromagnetic survey was completed and 9 discrete anomalies were selected for follow up work and 15 samples collected, one sample contained a rounded garnet. Detailed aeromagnetic surveys were completed over two dipole anomalies but assessment of data downgraded the anomalies and no additional samples were collected.
