Abstract: | Core drilled by Australian AngloAmerican Ltd during 1984 was resampled and previously unsampled core was sampled. Results were disappointing. Rock chip sampling of known working was completed with 63 samples taken with grades in excess of 1g/t obtained at 9 sites. highest result was 6.9g/t Au at the Golden Goose west pit. 82 RAB holes were completed in areas of known mineralisation, some of which had not been tested by drilling. Access problems and swelling clays resulted that the targets in some cases were not intersected. Results were disappointingly low with only one assay result obtained in excess of 1g/t Au ie 1.64g/t.
