Surrender report for Exploration Licences 7557, 7558, 7559, 8869, 8870 and 8874 - Ti Tree project, NT 12-12-91 to 24-04-98

Abstract

The report summarises the work completed on the tenements on an annual basis. Some of the more interesting results were from Mt Esther where magnetic anomalies were detected by airborne aeromagnetic surveys and were suggestive of the Tennant Creek area. Initial drill results obtained anomalous gold/copper/bismuth within ironstones ie 1m@0.56g/t Au and 1m@0.21g/t Au with 14m@0.16Cu and 95ppm Bi. A further 5 magnetic targets were drilled and were caused by ultramafic intrusive, however some anomalism was obtained ie to 240ppb Au, Cu to 6500ppm. Regional drillhole traverses were completed but no anomalism obtained.
