Abstract: A regional stream sediment sampling program was conducted on the Redbank Trend with some copper anomalism observed in two creeks to 300 ppm, one isolated rock chip with observed copper showing returned 4450ppm Cu. At anomaly E 15 rock chip samples were collected in the basal Wollogorang Formation and obtained elevated manganese and high Co and Copper values possibly due to scavenging. However high Ba and U (to 60ppm) warrant follow up work. At the Brunton Prospect soil sampling defined a 150m x 250m coincident Pb-Zn-Cd anomaly. Anomalous rock chip samples were obtained from a galena bearing basalt. A Petrological study was completed and it was concluded that the Hobblechain Rhyolite represents an ignimbrite sheet.
