Abstract: Available aeromagnetic and radiometric data was acquired and used for structural and geological interpretation. In the first year 12.5 line km ground magnetic surveys were completed over a high amplitude magnetic feature and in the vicinity where anomalous lag arsenic values were obtained, no distinctive features were noted in the latter. In the third year an additional 3 line km of ground magnetics was completed. The tenement was evaluated by 238 lag samples, and indicated a zone of 8 samples with arsenic anomalism to 82 ppm, low Ni anomalism is evident close to the magnetic anomaly. RAB drilling was completed in the vicinity of the arsenic anomaly and the magnetic feature. Samples were analysed for gold and arsenic and no anomalism obtained, the magnetic feature is a large mafic intrusive, consisting of norite, pyroxenite, gabbro showing some cumulate textures.
23.5 Line km ground magnetics
