| Abstract: | The tenement was in joint venture with Stockdale who evaluated the tenement for its diamond potential by collecting 27 stream sediment and 148 loam samples. In addition about half of the tenement was covered by 250 line spaced airborne magnetic survey which indicated nine magnetic features which were loam sampled and two of which were covered by a 50m detailed airborne magnetic survey. One sample obtained a spinel of possible kimberlitic origin and the area was followed up by 25 stream and 14 loam samples, with an additional 2 spinels of similar composition obtained. 4 drill holes were completed and granophyre intersected. |
