Abstract: | The tenements were explored for gold targeting garnets, Callie and Tanami style of mineralisation. Outcrop in the area is poor and Landsat-Spot Imaging in conjunction with aeromagnetic interpretation delineated areas for investigation. Evaluation of basement below surficial cover was made by vacuum, RAB and aircore drilling, results were poor with occasional results being greater than 1ppb Au, the highest gold result recorded was 5ppb, whilst base metal values were easy subdued. |
