Abstract: The relinquished portions of the tenements were evaluated for diamonds in an offshore palaeo environment. High resolution geophysical surveys were undertaken and include bathymetric, seismic and sidescan sonar acquisition. Two targets identified and evaluated by 3 drill holes to a maximum depth of 11m. No target gravels intersected. A sample from each site was analysed for 72 elements, particle size analysis, biological analysis, diamond analysis and micropalaeontological analysis.
