Title: | EL 7134 (Bullo River), final report |
Title Holder / Company: | Stockdale Prospecting |
Report id: | CR1993-0124 |
Tenure: | EL7134 |
Year: | 1993 |
Author: | Berryman, AK |
Abstract: | The majority of the EL is reasonably flat and poorly drained. This makes it relativelly difficult to assess the full potential of the area, with respect to a primary diamond deposit. During the first year of tenure 4 samples were collected in well drained country in the north east of the licence. These samples effectively sample the eastern licence segment. The western segment was not amenable to conventional stream sediment sampling. As samples failed to recover any diamonds or kimberlitic indicators, the area has little potential to host an economic diamond deposit. Infill sampling was planned for the second year of tenure however disappointing results in these latter ELs led to a re-evaluation of the whole Bullo River project area. It was recommended that no further work was required within EL7134 and the surrounding licences. The EL was relinquished on the 20-11-92. |
