| Abstract: | EL 7161 was applied for in order to further assess the significance of chromite grains recovered from the headwaters of Ooratippra Creek by a previous explorer. An initial sampling programme of 6 drainage samples yielded chromites in 4 samples. 16 closely spaced follow up samples were planned in the vicinity of the one sample which contained the largest number of chromites. Results from the follow up samples are still awaited. |
