| Abstract: | Exploration work during the reporting period involved infill soil sampling along with some close interval heavy mineral sampling. A total of 26 samples have been collected within EL 7272 and only 1 within EL 7273 during the reporting period. This work produced garnet non-kimberlitic ilmenites and chromites. The chromite grains were found to have originated from the Moonlight Valley Tillite unit in the north, and the garnet grains were present as a result of contamination from unrelated samples. The sample density coverage of EL 7273 is insufficient to have adequately evaluated the area. |
