Abstract: | During 1984, the exploration program focused on the abandoned Woolwonga gold workings within the southern portion of the EL. The Woolwonga workings are covered by a group of 9 claims and leases held by Australian Coal and Gold. These leases were optioned by the Golden Dyke Joint Venture in August 1984. An exploration program comprising: gridding; costeaning and channel sampling; detail and reconnaissance mapping, and diamond drilling was undertaken on the optioned AC&G ground and immediately surrounding ground on EL 4177 and north into EL 4441. |
