Final Report Arnhem Land, AP 1301.

Abstract

A P 1301 is held to explore for uranium and base metals. Some gold exploration was also undertaken. Work to date includes stream sediment sampling, soil sampling, geophysical and geological surveys. Some conductors may correspond to Zamia Creek Siltstone. Interest focused in Fagan - Morley Creek area where minor visible mineralisation was located in the Fagan Volcanics and at Tungi were gold was panned from a soil sample taken near igneous outcrop. Several maps are missing from the report and there is not enough information to relocate the sample.
