Title: Report on Exploration in AP 1131 from May 1964 to October 1965
Title Holder / Company: Australian Development
Report id: CR1965-0004
Tenure: AP1131
Year: 1965
Author: MacDonald, S
Abstract: Work on A to P 1131 during the past eighteen months has included geological mapping, magnetometric survey, geochemical survey, micro-gravity survey, and wagon drilling. This work has not yet led to the discovery of economic mineralisation, but much significant information has been recorded and forms part of a detailed study at present being made of an area extending for twenty miles from the New Hope Mine (ten miles to the east of Noble's Nob Mine) to the Mount Samuel area on the west. This Company's Exploration Department is at present being expanded and it is intended that past work in extant As to P be studied in detail and further work, if considered necessary, planned and completed as soon as possible. The attached plan shows the parts of AP 1131 that have been covered by geochemical survey, magnetometric survey, and gravity survey, and shows the location of wagon drill holes.
