Abstract: Rock chip sampling shows that the Antrim Plateau Volcanics contains relatively high levels of copper, lead and zinc with most copper and zinc anomalism associated with this unit. Most lead and Ba anomalies are located in the centre of the licence near areas of known lead mineralisation. Three areas are considered worthy of follow up. Area A is a coincident Cu-Pb-Zn anomaly higher than normally associated with background levels in the Antrim Plateau Volcanics (sample M39944), Area B is a coincident Cu-Pb-Ba in a stream draining Carpentarian limestone and dolomite (sample M39983) and Area C which returned elevated lead (620ppm) and zinc (1800oom). Strontium isotope analysis of barite samples indicate that the barite is unlikely to result from the remobilisation of barite precipitated in a marine environment.
