SEL8035 Mount Drummond, partial surrender report for period ending 31-03-1995

Abstract

7 gravel samples were collected and analysed for kimberlitic indicators and micro diamonds. Sampling results were negative. At each site a 80# sample was also collected and analysed for base metals. No significant results were obtained. 192 stream sediment samples were collected in a regional survey outlining 4 anomalous drainages which were followed by 691 soil samples plus mapping. 3 of the anomalies were verified and it was determined from the mapping-geochemistry that the potential of these area to host a substantial near surface deposit was down graded.
