Second annual report for EL 8287 (Sore Tooth North) for the year ending 11 September 1997

Abstract

80 composite rock chip samples were taken from two areas. In the northern area this involved an initial phase of 40 samples. This returned a maximum value of 140ppb Au. This result was followed up by a further 30 samples. No significant results were obtained. The remaining 10 samples followed up a 5ppb Au result from 1996. All values were BLD. 64 infill lag samples were collected. One sample returned 13.5ppm U. This sample followed up a 1996 result of 34ppm U. 20 angled RAB holes (907m) were completed in an area not suited to surficial sampling. Results are to be submitted in the next annual report.
