EL 7934 McDermotts Creek partial relinquishment report for year ending 02-12-1994

Abstract

During the first year reconnaissance density gravel and stream sediment sampling were completed. The gravel sample results were mostly negative with 3 samples returning non kimberlitic indicator minerals. The geochemical sampling returned no significant values In year two a detailed airborne magnetic-radiometric survey was completed. 2 magnetic anomalies were follow up by ground magnetics loam and soil sampling. Single chromites were recovered from each anomaly. The radiometric anomaly upon investigation was related to a spring. Soil samples returned low values.
