Annual report EL 9006 26th May 1996 to 25th May 1997 Warrego South project

Abstract

Nexus Minerals NL continued to review data gathered on the adjoining EL 9567 (formerly EL 8247 - Nexus Minerals NL 25%, North Star Resources NL 75%) to formulate programs on EL 9006. The initial data review was reported in Rafty (1996). North Star Resources NL (operator) conducted exploration programs on EL 9567. The results of these programs were relevant to proposed programs on EL 9006. Nexus Minerals NL is awaiting a report from North Star Resources NL of their exploration activities. The retained block on EL 9006 contains the intersection of several WNW structures intersecting a NW trending and NE trending structure. Until a full assessment has been completed by Nexus Minerals NL for the results of the North Star programs the proposed programs for EL 9006 as outlined in Rafty (1996) have been postponed.
