Abstract: | A RAB drill programme was carried out over soil anomalies previously identified. This work consisted of 337 RAB holes (2285m). This confirmed the highly anomalous soil results and showed that they were related to series of high grade, and distinct north-west striking, elongate gold-arsenic anomalies. The anomalies are open along strike. About intersect of 2m as at 21.3g-t Au. These results were followed up with 7 percussion RAB (250m). Drilling results were encouraging with results including 3m as at 1.b g-t Au. In addition to this 2 MMI geochemical soil sampling programmes were completed. One was carried out over the area of RAB drilling and consisted of 10x200m centres. This work located a NW trending anomaly open along strike and a weaker parallel structure 200m to the north east. The remaining program was in the SE of the licence. 564 samples were collected on 10x200m centres. A north trending anomaly was outlined some 1000x100m over Red Hill. This was followed up by 8 RC holes totalling 676m which returned mineralized intercepts. |
