Abstract: | 44 RAB holes were completed to test the southern strike extent of the Acacia North Prospect. Drilling at the southern end confirmed a narrow (<50m) open extent zone of mineralization extending to the title boundary. An IP-resistivity survey was completed. This identified a target. This was tested by two RC holes. The anomaly was found to be associated with pyritic, graphitic and carbonaceous mudstones. A third RC hole was completed targeting previously located mineralization. This hole (ANRC029) intersected 3m (true thickness) at 11.3g-t Au including 1m at 58g-t Au. A single diamond hole was completed testing the IP-chargeability anomaly and to target down dip extensions of shallow mineralization. The best intercept was 0.6m at 1.05g-t Au. |
