| Abstract: | Work completed included 3 programmes of vacuum drilling totalling 1337 holes (18268m) and 125 rock chip samples. The vacuum drilling highlighted that this area has a complex cover sequence where deep palaechannels drain palaeotopograhic highs. 4 zones (Emperor 1-4) of anomalism were outlined. Emperor 1 is a coincident magnetic-gravity anomaly with a single hole Au-As anomaly. Emperor 2 is a strong Au, As, Cu anomaly coincident with a gravity-magnetic bulls eye feature. Emperor 3 is a discontinuous multielement anomaly in excess of 30km strike and Emperor 4 is a further multielement anomaly of some 20km strike. |
