Abstract: Gold exploration during the past year included shallow RAB drilling over geochemical anomalies to the east of the mine workings, vacuum drilling at the eastern ends of the leases and the trialing of the MMI surface geochemistry technique. Deep RC and diamond drilling also tested the Crusader ironstone and Nav 6 system at depth. Overall results were disappointing with only weak geochemical anomalies discovered in the vacuum drilling, while the RAB, RC and diamond drillholes intersected their target zones but discovered no mineralisation, apart from WDRC-1143. This drill hole was drilled to the west of the Crusader ironstone and gave an intersection of 9m @ 6 g/t Au, including 1m @ 43 g/t Au, however this mineralisation lacked strike continuity.
