Abstract: | In the first year of the licence 61 rock chip and 29 lag samples were collected. 76 vacuum drill holes totalling 622.8m were also completed. The initial phase of rock chip sampling returned anomalous Au, As, Cu, Bi and Co values from an area of low hackly hills near the Red Hackle Dam. These hills are associated with a NW striking fault in the Lander Rock Beds with some 3km strike. The fault is associated with intense brecciation, quartz veining and silica-sericitic alteration. Maximum assays obtained were 610ppb Au, 3600ppm Cu and 6270 ppm As. The lag and majority of the vacuum drill results are outstanding and will be contained in the next annual. |
