Abstract

Northern gold have previously outlined a gold anomaly in the area which is considered to be the north-western extension of the Au mine ralisation at the Virginia mine. Field exploration in 1994 (fifth year of tenure) was suspended pending the issue of an AAPA certificate and discussions with aboriginal land holders after the recent grant of part of the Finniss River Land Claim over the tenement area. Satelite imagery was purchased and reviewed in order to evaluate the structure and regional setting of the known deposits in the area and the prospectivity of the tenement.
