Abstract: | Kevron flew an airborne survey over the licence. Analysis of the data revealed 6 low amplitude, short-dipolar responses and a single radiometric response warranting follow up. The 6 magnetic anomalies were followed up by ground magnetometry. The follow up failed to highlight a dipolar magnetic response indicative of kimberlitic intrusives. Each site had a single loam sample collected. 5 were positive. At these sites a total of 23-80# soil samples were also collected for geochemical analysis. No anomalous responses were obtained. 6 rock chip samples were collected from W04 and no anomalous responses were obtained. The follow up of the radiometric anomaly indicates that the anomalous response is associated with spring fed ground water. |
