Title: EL 8041 Saunders Creek Ban Ban area, annual report for the period ending 09-09-1994.
Title Holder / Company: Corporate Developments

Year: 1994
Author: Bluck, RG
Abstract: The EL was taken up to investigate the significance of two 'thumb print' aeromagnetic anomalies associated with rafts of Koolpin Formation and Zamu Dollerite within Princes Springs Granite. Work completed has consisted of a literature search, mapping and sampling of the Annabel Uranium prospect, photo-geological mapping and magnetic surveying. 7 rock chip samples were collected, none of which was significantly mineralised. Reconnaissance magnetometer surveys were carried out to locate the two aeromagnetic anomalies on the ground. These were bith located and it was established that the southern anomaly is located 50 to 100 m south of a geochemical line with anomalous Zn and As values. The northern anomaly is located entirely within the granite.
