dc.description.abstractResults from 1992 stream sediment bulk samples were recovered. 4 samples from EL7263 returned singleton microdiamonds and chromite, while the bulk sample from EL7264 returned a single macrodiamond. These positive results were not followed up by sampling during 1993-1994. The area was also examined for its manganese and base metal potential. In general base metal results were at background level, and where elevated associated with increased Fe-Mn suggesting that scavenging may have been the cause. Mn exploration has returned interesting results from the Towns and Yiyintyi (max value 25.3% Mn).en_US
