Abstract: During the past year work involved data compilation and re-evaluation from all Rum Jungle projects in order to gain a better understanding of the geological models and controls on the copper/cobalt/nickel mineralisation. Mineralisation in the area appears to be influenced by the stratigraphic position, the chemical environment, the lithology and the structure. metallurgical testwork was completed on 2 previously reported drill holes (EMB1 and 2) in EL 4880. EMB1 collapsed as it entered the target zone, and EMB2 contained nearby weaker mineralisation than anticipated. Current compilation and interpretation suggests thta a fault or shear has significantly reduced the mineralised section tergeted in EMB2. Results of drilling and sampling of the haematite quartz breccias were reviewed. Occasional strongly anomalous values were given, however there was no indication of continuity of mineralisation. TEM surveys were completed on adjacent tenements.
