Abstract

Results from 15 samples collected in 1993, 3 bulk samples and 46 loam samples were collected. Results of the loam sampling are to be included in the next annual.1 of the bulk samples returned a single 0.05ct diamond. Exploration programmes for the base metals and manganese were also competed. This included 200 line km GEOTEM, 450 line km aeromagnetics-radiometrics, 2 RC holes totalling 56m and 99 soil samples over two areas. The RC drilling suggested that the depositional environment was not conclusive to the deposition of manganese. The soil sampling failed to highlight any significant anomalism though some low level anomalism apparent south of the Kilgour copper prospect.
