| Abstract: | 191 -80# soil samples were collected from the B horizon at the Scraper Station anomaly. This programme outlined two zones of anomalous geochemistry which together trend 500m N-S and 300m E-W. These anomalies were tested by 42 open hole percussion hole drill holes (best intercept 2m at 4.37ppm Au). A further 54 soil samples were collected from an area referred to as Area 3, returning generally low order Au and As values. This does not compare well with a previous values (207ppb Au, 230ppm As). Work to date has downgraded the potential of the area. |
