Abstract: Work completed 1992 to 1993 consisted of a vacuum drilling and RAB drilling programme as well as a gravity and a magnetic survey. The gravity survey highlighted a pronounced gravity high. The ground magnetic survey found that the Explorer 26 anomaly was coincident with the NE portion of the gravity high. The orientation vacuum drill programme (170 holes totalling 1580m) showed vacuum drilling to be an appropriate technique for testing the alluvium. Follow up consisted of 749 holes totalling 3139m. The drilling returned a number of anomalous values. Follow up of these anomalies consisted of two phases of RAB drilling. The best intercept was 6m at 3.8 g-t Au. The mineralisation appears to trend in a N-E direction.
