Abstract: | 12 line kilometres of ground magnetics was completed over an interpreted airborne magnetic high. Interpretation suggested 100-150m to the source of the anomaly. 3 RC percussion holes totalling 279m were drilled to determine depth to the Lower Proterozoic. Depth to the Proterozoic varied from 38-60m. Weak gold anomalism was defined in quartz sulphide veining within two of the holes (maximum value 0.18ppm). The September 1992 multiclient airborne survey confirmed the interpretation of an anticline structure to the west of the the Fenton Granite. |
